Growing up, we were always interested in how organizations present themselves—how strong brands, clear messaging, and consistent communication shape trust over time. That appreciation may run in the family. Our great-great-grandparents owned Meador’s Candy Factory, a small business known for its bold branding and signature glass candy jars, many of which can still be found today in antique shops across the Upstate of South Carolina. It’s a reminder that when something is built thoughtfully, it lasts.
In late 2018, Gavin Smith launched The Inspyre Group as a full-service marketing and public relations firm, working with businesses, organizations, and public-sector leaders to support growth through strategic marketing, communications, public relations, and advocacy. As the firm grew, so did the scope of the work—naturally expanding into brand strategy, creative development, and long-term positioning.

After years of collaborating closely on branding, marketing, and communications projects, Gavin joined his brother Grayson in 2025 to launch Brand Bros—bringing a more focused, intentional approach to brand strategy, creative, and brand-led execution. As both firms continued to evolve, it became clear that maintaining two separate names no longer reflected how the work was being done or how clients were being served.
In early 2026, Brand Bros and The Inspyre Group formally joined together, combining their teams, services, and experience into one integrated agency operating under the Brand Bros name. Today, Brand Bros brings branding, marketing, and communications together within a single, cohesive firm—supported by multiple family members who are actively involved in the business and committed to its long-term success.
